The Director of Corporate Acquisition Sales is responsible for providing day-to-day strategic direction and leadership to a Corporate Sales Organization, allowing the organization to meet and exceed all business metrics, including revenue, sales, and SG&A, and the key focus is on new and low/no business customers. Duties include establishing relationships with key client executives and supporting business unit sales goals by conducting strategy reviews and serving as a liaison with business development and legal groups to drive overall sales, service, and branch objectives. The Director will interact with both internal and external executive management and ensure customer satisfaction. They will lead by example to understand the customer s value levers, market, and competitor s value proposition, as well as understand the customer s business operations and needs to develop the value proposition. The Director is responsible for overseeing and handling complex outsourcing engagements, customer escalations and numerous, detailed and concurrent install/conversion/migration projects. The role has full managerial responsibility over setting policy, delivering high-value services and driving business process improvement. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a team of sales managers and their teams. The teams provide mobility, cloud and IT, strategic networking, advanced communications, professional services, and outsourcing solutions for enterprise customers. Lead a team of sales leaders spanning a geographic market which is spread across multiple states within the United States, with responsibility for creating and delivering value to enterprise customers through leveraging Verizon s portfolio of assets. Drive sales strategy and business development while focusing on acquiring new customers, increasing profitable revenue growth, and maintaining the multinational customer base. Cultivate talent development for enterprise leadership and sales teams. Drive the budget and forecast cycles for each assigned region. Define and communicate enhanced planning and reporting standards across the enterprise. Detect patterns and trends in the customer, competitors, technology, social, and legislative forces to identify opportunities to position your organization for success. Drive innovation, take risks, and learn from failure to define where your organization will play and how it will win in the marketplace. Create a winning aspiration and set challenging yet realistic goals for your organization that align with Verizon strategy, motivate others, and guide decisions about what the priorities are. Education Requirements: Generally requires a Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent and relevant work experience Master's in Business Administration or equivalent strongly preferred Required Prior Work Experience: 10+ years of directly related experience with a strong management and leadership background and proven results in a complex environment Demonstrated ability to manage a team of sales leaders and sales professionals with proven results; experience managing other managers of people/sales team in a complex environment strongly preferred Preferred Functional Skills: Proven ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment with matrix organizations, balancing multiple priorities Successful Manager/Director level sales management experience, leading a multi-departmental team set-up to meet specific customer requirements Strong business financial analysis skills; broad industry knowledge in voice, data, and video; Managed Services; ITO; and, business issue resolution Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior level executives Experience with solution selling to C-Level executives in the Fortune 500 and Global Market Strong written and oral communication skills When you join Verizon...
